Okay, lets look at what has happened in my life in the past few weeks yea,
Schools been gay, and is getting gay-er with P.W and what not, c'mon, EMERGENCY OR CONSERVATION?! No matter, it has been given and we shall just have to deal with it, TOO BAD AH THATS LIFE.

Climbings good too, finally got shoes! White Pearl Lace Ups, SIZE SIX. Uber small, but thats climbing shoes for you. My forearms growing, but holy shit, despite the gain in muscle mass and height, you know, you expect me to like gain weight or something right? But check this out, I LOST weight and now I weigh at an astounding and mind-boggling 44.5kg. Shocking isn't it? I knoww. Like HOLY SHIT siaaa. Mehh, what to do, just eat and train for now, we'll see what time has to offer.

Socially sound too. Like met people on a regular basis? Especially one (:
I'm looking forward for Speech Day 09, can FINALLY meet the people whom have gone to the other side of Singapore to continue their education. WHOO! :D

Other than that, nothing much has happened? OH WAIT, Im in a Malay Cultural Society, MCS, Mega event, thats happening this April, on the 25th. The Pimple has been conquered, FINALLY.
See, The Pimple is a route in my school.
Why The Pimple, you may ask. Its because it has many circular things jutting out, very similar to the pimples on a persons face, you know? Haha
Well, basically its a difficult route, I think?
Its called an overhang, you know, form th side, it looks like THIS /
Its like slanted around 30 degrees? So the pull of gravity gets stronger as you go higher.
As you go higher, your arms get weaker, your strength seeps out just when th going gets tougher. So yea, its tough.

Let us re-examine the story of Sleeping Beauty, you know, the one in Disney.
APPARENTLY, what we have been reading for decades is WRONG, a twisted version of the TRUTH.

Let me tell you the reaaaal story, here goes.

Once upon a time, there lived Princess. We shall not name her, cause I don't recall her name in the tale. She had the most stunning features in all DisneyLand. Her hair, as black as ebony, the skin, as fair as one can be, and her lips, as red as blood can be. Alas, no one is perfect. She was very unfortunate for she is as round as a pumpkin. Grostequely fat. She searched throughout the land for a way to shed off some weight, but to no avail. To add to that, her step mother had been very cruel to her! She forced her to vomit out her food in an attempt to stop gaining weight but once again, to no avail. Too disgusted to call her her step daughter, the step mother banished her into the woods! She ran and ran till her legs gave way and found a cave nearby. Dog tired, she slept, using leaves as her mattress and the earth as her bed.

When she woke up the very next day, she found seven stout but fit dwarves standing over her, their faces red as beetroot. Panicking, she tried to stand up, but realized she could not as she had been sleeping flat on the ground! Finally after a few minutes of trying, and perspiring through her dress, did one of the dwarves helped her up.

"What-cha doing her woman?!" Said the one who helped her up.

"I'm sorry! I didn't know this was your cave! I have been banished from my land, and could find no other refuge, please forgive me!" She begged on her knees.

Pitying for the beautiful princess, there invited her over to their cottage where they had prepared the most scrumptious of meals. The Princess's eyes almost popped out of their sockets when she saw the feast. Without wasting a second for thought, she chomped through the feast while the seven dwarves looked on, surprised. When she had satisfied her stomach, she lied down on the floor and once again, fell into a deep sleep.

The Princess was struck awake the next morning by the thumping of boots. With much trouble, she stood up and saw that the dwarves were going back to the caves. Not wanting to be left alone in the cottage, she snatched a pair of black worn boots and tried to catch up. When she finally arrived at the cave, long behind the dwarves, she saw that they had already started mining. Once again, not wanting to feel left out, she too started to mine. The hours seemed to go by so slowly, every minute an eternity of torment for her arms. Sweat dripped off her forehead in an endless stream. Not hearing any of them complaining or stop, she too did not despite her arms begging to stop. Finally, when the cave was filled completely with darkness, did the sounds of pickaxes being dropped echo across the walls. Caught in a frenzy to keep on mining, the Princess did not stop until the dwarves finally forced the pickaxe out of the hand and caught hold of her. As if she was a rabid animal, she started foaming at the mouth and eventually passed out.

Rays of sunlight blinded her and forced her eyes open. The Princess sat up, wondering what had happened. She was on a bed, with food prepared in front of her! As usual, she devoured it without a thought and fell back asleep. However, the next time she woke up, she found that her arms seemed lighter! "How is this possible!?" She thought. Only then did she realize how effective mining had been to shed off her fats. Astounded and excited at this new oppurtunity, she immediately went off to the caves, ready to mine again.

This continued for quite some time and she developed a strong bond with her fellow miners. They looked out for each other, helped her stop mining and even prepared for her food! In eternal debt to them, the Princess vowed never to binge ever again. The dwarves were so proud of her. Little did they know that the Princess had been bingeing behind their backs, unable to control her appetite after so many years. One day, the dwarves found out and were extremely disappointed with the Princess. In a flutter of rage, they agreed to never allow the Princess to mine ever again so that she will suffer forever as a fat person. With nowhere to hide her face, the Princess shut off the world and fell into a deep sleep, not intending to wake up and face reality ever again.

Seeing the Princess asleep, never ever waking up, sorrow and regret creeped into the little dwarves' hearts. As a gift, they created a gigantic glass coffin, so that they may forever see her beautiful features as she lay there, unmoving.

Somewhere faraway, a Prince hears of this and is love struck by the idea of a Princess sleeping forever in a glass coffin! He then embarked on a journey of years to find her. Back in the woods, the dwarves become aware of a strange phenomenon, the princess is becoming THINNER as the years go by! By the time the Prince arrived, the Princess had lost so much weight that she looked truly beautiful! ( except for the fact that she wore very over-sized dresses ) Holding a croissant in one hand, he lifted the cover of the glass coffin to give her a kiss. After staying dormant for so long, and unexposed to the smell of food due to the glass coffin, the mind kicked awake. Sending electrical impulses to her jaw in a split second, she did what was second nature to her, to CHOMP! Thinking that he had awaken the princess by kissing her, they happily agreed to marry each other and live happily ever after.

MORAL OF THE STORY : Lipids is an excellent energy storage molecule that is only assimilated once all glucose in the body is used up!

Tiring days, CCAs, Studying, kinda takes up a lot of energy.

Most of th time, I only eat and sleep at home, then wake up, go back to school!

The week, has been good.

Still keeping up with my lectures and tutorials, having enough time to still have fun and joke around, still laughing, loads of that, teachers are not bad, friends many, and yea, alls good, whee.

Just came back from second climbing training. Not a glint of regret man, I love it. The feeling you get, when you reach the top, when your arms ache, when you see your friends reaching the top, the pain and sweat, its all worth it. Thank god todays a friday, if not, I don't think my arms would work as well tomorrow. I was in such a state that when I was trying to put toothpaste on my toothbrush, I ALMOST put facial wash. Hahaha

I like Maths, it's fun. Frustrating, but satisfying.

Biology is pending, still a long way to go.

Same goes for Chemistry.

Only concern is Project Work, considering the number of variables that can affect your grade and stuff, but I have faith, my class has potential, goodgood.

After a week of orientation at TJC then can I say something about it, can't be too early to judge, yea?

ORIENTATION HAD BEEN UBER FUN.
TJC just has a warm aura around it, you know? Like the whole school seems to be a part of a BIG family, despite the different houses and classes. You always see people like talking and laughing about, smiling and laughing. I think cause its orientation week? But we'll see. I bet this would change drastically when its during the exam period. But who cares, thats for later! Yea, back to the topic. Theres a lot of friendly and warm people there. They say hi and acknowledge you, and are crazy back when you're crazy to them! Hahaha, i think that applies only for me. The J2s seem nice, but i don't know them much, so we'll wait yea? I strongly urge those people out there who thinks that TJC is boring *COUGH COUGH SITI KHAIRUNNISA COUGH COUGH* to change your opinion, cause I've experienced it, though only for a short moment, and its not BORING, in any way!

DAY ONE:

Everyone seemed lost, not much interaction, everyones with their own school friends, I'm guilty as charged, heh. As we sat for three hours straight on our cold flat asses, we start to notice a few people here and there. In our heads "Ahh, these people are gonna be in the same school as me".
Got to know our groups and hence, all of us proceeded, clueless on what to expect. At first it was difficult for me, considering that most of the people in my OG had chinese names, but quickly, they got to know me, and vice versa. Thank god I have an outgoing personality or it would have been such a boring experience! And end of day one.

DAY TWO :

Day two was a far more exciting day. Though it started off with a really long and boring lecture by our VP, which was by far the only lecture I slept in, it really picked up the pace rather quickly as we went for our amazing race. OMG sia, it was damn fun! I think this was the reason why my OG got closer to each other, cause we had to work together and run together and do weird funny things together! Also because we started learning the MASS DANCE that day! HOLY SHIT SIAA I LIKEE :D

DAY THREE :

Highlight of the day was MASS GAMES. Damn it was fun. Got wet flour on our faces and in our mouth, played a human futsal, you know the table thingy, blowed balls to score, HAHAHAHA, and cheered like mad crazy people, yeah. Then there was CCA tryouts, didn't really have to try out cause i know im going to join CLIMBING.

DAY FOUR :

Ahh day four, thursday. THE SECOND BEST DAY! :D
The usual MASS GAMES & DANCE for the beginning part of the day, however I wasn't there cause I had rehearsals for O-Night, which was retarded. In a good way, lol. THEN THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE DAY. Mass Dance at Suntec Fountain. HOLY SHIT IT WAS DAMN FUN I TELL YOU! We danced as a school, at SUNTEC! Around the fountain, a whole sea of red and patches of green here and there. Screaming, jumping and dancing. Such a wonderful scene! :D
We danced from 6-8 and at around 7 there, I got high on adrenaline and got crazy till like 9, really. Hahaha. Miraculously I didn't lose my voice despite all the cheering and singing and shouting and running. Tiring day, nonetheless DAMN FUN.

LAST DAY :

The highlight and finale of the whole orientation. The whole DAY was such a slow and mundane day, cause all we did was rehearse for our performance. However, once the clock struck 6.30, things got moving. O NIGHT, Ignite the INFI-NIGHT began. The performances were awesome, some mad me go :O seriously, while some were fair, but most were BAIK BAIK BAIK-BAIK!
THEN THEY CAME, the external band. First song was STARLIGHT by Muse, which was an excellent song to begin your performance with, cause everyone started jumping and running, and singing along. Such a FEVER. Out of the blue, the music stopped. Technical Difficulty. Despite that, the level of FEVER didn't drop a notch at all, everyone started cheering TOGETHER, everyone knew everyone elses' cheer and whoa, REALLY LOUD AND COOL. This lasted for around 10 minutes or more, and everyone was in the mood. Next song was an unknown song to me, but everyone else knew it. Followed by Zombie by the Cranberries! Omg, I got crazy, cause i love the song, and in the centre of the crowd, my voice rose above all, lol. Jumped around and ran around till like 11, omg such an experience. A memorable night.

Apparently our batch is like ten times more enthusiasthic than the previous, yeah, so I'm delighted :D

I am, from now onwards, a student of Temasek Junior College. God knows best, so yea, I'll just accept what he has given me. There are a few paradoxes here but I don't care. Though deep down, I am slightly saddened that I did not get into Raffles Junior College, but as my cousin always says, "Thats LIFE!". Indeed, Life it is. We practically made one REALLY UBER huge round, from one edge of Tampines to the edge of Pasir Ris. Stopped at Simei and met Siti Khairunnisa awhile, you know, just meet up after some time. Then proceeded on to Ikea, which was surprisingly far from Simei. Surprise. It was tiring but had fun, couple of boys in little cute bikes cycling at night, screaming and shouting. Sounds like a nuisance, well, we were. But it was fun, so to hell... Then at Ikea, Muhammad wanted to get some Ice Cream so we stopped awhile, took a detour at the Toilet and this was what we did.

Alright, its been awhile since I last updated. Didn't feel like updating

Then yesterday involved the first two, and another one, and a different thing. Watch a Movie.

Hahaha. Watched Chandni Chowk to China. Hindustan with subtitles. A funny show, really. If you wanna catch a movie with a light feeling, just for th sake of laughing, and feeling different, watch this. Though th movie seems very shallow, theres quite a deep lesson in it. And as someone said, got message behind it, you know, like SBQ for SS one. hahaha. To be fair, its true.

There were so many funny parts I can't even remember em all. And the SONG. Man, it gets stuck to your head quite like the Nobody Nobody But Chou, but not as strong. And the Main Actress, Deepika Padukone, Depict-A-Pardoo-Cone. Haha. Yea, she's hot, REALLY. Go find an image of her on google if you think its just me.

The day ended unexpectedly fast, cause I had to rush home. Heh.
But it was fun while it lasted, haha.
SOMEHOW, not a single picture was taken. Of us, that is.

It is 4 and I am bored.

Past few days had been eventful and fun, like on tuesday.

Went for Temasek JC Open House, was quite happening, in terms of atmosphere and all, but the happening people, the seniors were absent. Damn. Anyway got to meet a friend who wanted to see me after results. Farah Syirin's the name, and I'm sorry, didnt get to pass your message lol.

What was exciting was the activities there. For th past 3 years or so, my brother and I have always gone to open houses to ONE, meet the people there and most importantly TWO, to rockclimb. Like the people there wanted to play soccer, so it was my brother, me and 3 other graduates agaisnt the TJ school team. Yea then it rained so we just lepak. Got to rock climb after so long, three times in a row. Fingers hurt like cramped up like mad but it was fun hah.

Seems like a warm place.

After that went to muhammad's place and had a spur-of-th-moment picnic at Pasir Ris Park with Gerald and Liang Wei. Cycled there and enjoyed like th wind and all. Been a long time since we had that much of like free fun, haha. The wind was so strong when birds tried to fly they were virtually motionless! COOL! hahaha and muhammads sandwich got stolen by a crow. So to get revenge, we set a trap, which was unsuccessful beyond words.

Liangwei's face is PRICELESS. the wind was THAT strong, hahahaha

Then we proceeded to look for interesting things when th tide is low. HAHA! I found an indian goddess statue in the sand, was about to pick it up when liang wei said it could be cursed, lol.

Got bitten by a huge crab, YES A CRAB. poked a few anemones while liang wei and gerald were catching creepy crawlies in the sea, okay I was catching, they were keeping watch and collecting.
Muhammad was missing the action cause he had to settle some stuff, which was a LOT. Damn, me gerald and my other friend used to do this regularly in sec 2, like catch mudskippers and all, just for the fun of it. Haha, you guys should try it sometime, its fun, lol

Finally the date has arrived. Long-awaited yet dreaded like the plague. It makes my heart beat fast in anticipation, yet deep inside, there is a deep fear of what's to come. I guess we all do have something to fear about, just the thought that it will define your future is already overwhelming. Then comes the hopes and dreams, the fear that it will come crashing down with reality. Yet, at the same very moment, the anticipation builds, for some. With knowledge that you have did your best, one can even dream of being one of the top students, the glory and the satisfaction it gives. To me, theres no use fearing for it, essentially. It brings you nothing, except more fear, and probably sleepless nights. Whats done IS done. No fear doesn't mean I'm confident, just that Ive come to terms that this has already been set in stone, and that whatever the results is, it is of my doing, how much I studied and all. To all who harbour the common fear within us, be cool. May tomorrow be a wonderful day for us.

Today, had been an interesting and thoroughly fun day.
Day started at 1, okay maybe 1.30. I HAVE A REASON OKAY! Couldn't sleep properly the night before cause it was too cold and I didn't have my blanket. And yes, I sleep with a blanket. Warm sleep is good sleep for me. Hence, when I did sleep, I NEEDED sleep, thats why I woke up at 1

Played DoTA with my brother till he realized he had school and had to rush off. Lol.
It was 3, almost 4, and I promised Muhammad I'd be at his house at 3.

My intention to go to his house was simple, record a video. What was to be recorded, that was the troublesome part, and very embarassing, HAHA. See, today is my friend Sarra's birthday, (HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU IF YOU READ MY BLOG!) so we decided to fulfill her wish of seeing me dancing to Muhammad's favourite Korean Girl Group, Wondergirls. DAAAMN. So I had to learn th dance really quick, cause it had to be done TODAY. But we played a little bit of soccer in his house first and this caused my left eye to be swollen. I headed his head. HAHAHA
As I was saying, yea, 30 minutes to learn, and holy shit, it was difficult. Respect Muhammad for being able to dance so well man. It was Gay with a capital G. My abs hurt after practicing it the second time cause I had to shake my hips so much. To dance gay-ishly with my bestfriend and being on video, is SUPER FUN. HAHA, who cares if its gay, we had fun. So after 1 hour, finally we had our video. After reviewing it, I realized I shook my hips abit too much, as compared to Muhammad. "WHATHEF!!" We were laughing so hard we were crying. My stomach still hurts

I believe now is the time to contemplate on the implications of this year before I proceed on with the next. 2008 had been, conflicted. For me, it has been a year of much conflict, of much arguments and distress. Never have I seen so many group of friends break apart so quickly, without a hope of reconcilation. Even I am involved in some of them, rather deeply in one, personally in many, and just on the surface for most. However, once the dust had settled and the air cleared, I realize that this year had been a year where I have changed, for the better. Many lessons were taught, not by people but by experiences, my vision, cleared. Only through enduring challenges can we aspire to achieve higher. Hurdles eh? I remember a speech by a person. In every single moment of life, you are always given a choice. To some, it may not be obvious, but it is A fact that you have a choice, to view a certain matter in a different manner and such. And it is through these choices that define you as a person. Its time to make choice, yea?

Its seems that my blog had stalled, well, its just a temporary thing.
Well, don't worry! Now I'm back from Indonesia! Was there last weekend and I have to say that taking some time off to a place where chaos is absent is, refreshing.

The People (From the Left) : My Maid's sister, Kak Abbot's husband, Kak Abbot, Bik Ros, My Mom, My Maid, Bik Nur, My sister, A Friend, Me and My Brother! The only people missing here are the children, who are Mona, Barat, Noi, Indah and Dewi. Hahaha

We took a one hour ferry ride to Sekupang, then headed off to Belakang Padang on a speed boat, which was cool. Belakang Padang, literally, it means Behind the Field, weird eh? Haha. First thing my brother said when we arrived was "LEE!" while mine where "Daaaamn" hahaha. Heres a picture of the place called Belakang Padang, oh, and have I told you that it's beside the sea? So yea, its damn nice.

You can't really take in the atmosphere through pictures, but you get what I mean. Then we just relaxed at Bik Nur's house, which is HUGE, compared to houses here, for the whole afternoon? We decided to go shopping at night, and man, EVERYTHING is Cheap with a capital C. Okay we didn't really go shopping as in to buy shoes and clothes, the first trip was to get the food and stuff. That day was the day why I got darker, SERIOUSLY. Damn, it was so bloody hot, spotlights on full power. Sheesh, haha. Theres another reason, but thats for later. I had my first try at riding a bike that day. It was, exciting? Such a short moment and I almost crashed! Nevermind, I can always try some more, in the future. Later that night we went to the beach, just to see, and I realized that was like the meeting place for all the teens and kids there, practically all of them met there, to slack around and enjoy the sea breeze. It was kinda packed so we decided to go to the house of one of the locals there, which was at the top of a hill overlooking the whole of Belakang Padang. Such a specatacular view! You could see the sea, the village and even Singapore from there! Apparently Singapore's so bright it caused one side of the night sky to be like orange-purple while the other side was deep purple. We spent about an hour there before going home. The sky was glittered with countless of stars, beautiful. When you're there, you realize that only one side of the street is alight. This is because the generators can only provide enough electricity for one side at a time, and our side didn't have electricity for that night. It was okay, other than the fan not being able to function, hence keeping me up till 7, but it was understandable, haha.

The next morning, once again we go shopping, and this time we really shopped for clothes and slippers and stuff, yea. Rather tiring cause we spent the whole morning till around noon shopping! Once home, we rested abit while my brother went crazy riding the bike. He brought me adventuring the area and we stumbled upon this spot where you could see the sunset really clearly, with a backdrop of islands and houses on the water. The day before he took a picture, here it is.

After resting and having lunch, we took off to a beach called Pasir Putih, meaning White Sand. Had a few coconuts before jumping off into the sea. Such a wonderful feeling, haha. Swam around for awhile before realizing that all the little children were staring at me. HAHA! So decided to mingle around with them which ended up with me carrying them up and throwing back in, which they crazed for haha! Innocent and pure fun.

FUN RIGHT?! Haha while it lasted. After which, we departed and said our goodbyes to the land where the thousands rule, in currency that is.

On the way home, I realized that I love the sea, though I may not be able to swim in it well. I love how the wave appears, the mist as it clashes, the white froth that trails behind. When the thunderous waves created by the ferry as it slices the sea clashes, it appears as if there were souls in the sea, grabbing out, trying to hold on to something. The Mystic Sea.

AND THAT is my maid, whos been with my family since I was born, well except for a few lapses here and there, count them and there should be at least of 13 years of service to my family and I. Damn. I have to say, she has earned my utmost respect.
Especially for tolerating all the nonsense that my siblings and I bring wherever we go haha. She works countless hours, always in one building, with no assistants (okay maybe sometimes) and not seeing her family for such a long time. Can you imagine?!

Currently she's in Indonesia, visiting her family and to attend her sister's daughter's wedding, which I would too! So, now my house which has rarely seen a day without her, is MAID-LESS, haha! Though it's only been 2 days since she went, I can already see the house slowly changing. Its no longer speckless or perfectly in order, but you'd expect that. We shall go on for two weeks, we can take this, haha.

I wish I could filter my presence from people, like can appear offline to some, and online to others. Ignore that.

I remember an old dude quoting another old dude about how the worst sickness that a person could have is the fear of death. The Fear of Death. Its a human feeling, to fear death. He commands and it claims what is his, without a blink. And the fact that we wouldn't know what would happen next, or do we? Death signifies the end of life. Thats that. I think people fear death cause they love life too much, yea? The idea of it ending just stings some people I guess. I think it all depends on how life was for you. If it was good and luxurious, yea I believe the person wouldn't want to die. But if we examine the quote properly, you wonder why its a sickness. Then, to love life excessively would be a sickness to would it? I heard a poem, saying that we live to live then and that we die to live then. That death is not the end, but rather the beginning. This poem triggered this post. I apologize for the religious-ish-ness of this post, but yea, eventually, thats all that matters mm? When I think about life, I think about Death cause Death is the Beginning of Life.
I wish to break free from the chains that bind Man to this world that is dying.
